Just to keep my mind off the financial bailout, my wife got me started on a web hosting service that we used to use. It was terrible and sometimes I wonder what I was thinking just picking the first web host I found on the net. The problem is that most of us who are new in owning a blog online have no idea about the amount of work involved in owning a web site. All I could see in the beginning was someone who advertised ” Free ” something or another and I thought I got a bargain.

The first problem was the web hosting service. I learned that I needed to host a web site with someone else and not on my computer. So I got a subscription to a best blog hosting service and that was the beginning of all my problems. After paying someone a lot of money to set up my web site, I found out that I could never seem to find it online. It was always down. I blamed the web designer until he explained to me that my web host was the problem. After a few months, the company vanished. I mean I woke up one day and found it gone. With my 1 year subscription and all the information I had on the web site.

I googled the host name and found a forum were people were predicting it’s failure and a web hosting review site that categorically stated that my host was pathetic. That is why web hosting review web sites are important if you are interested in owning a web site. You will save yourself a few dollars and not go around looking for cheap web hosting just by visiting webhosting geeks. Who knows, you might decide to buy me a car for with the money I have just saved you.
