You have all heard about the Maddoff ponzi scheme especially if you were involved in it. It seems ’tis the season to really scam all those people who claim to have millions of dollars in their bank accounts.
Maddoffs clients are shooting themselves all over the place too hurt to live as broke as the rest of us mortals. However the recent so called British financier scam is what takes the cake. I have never heard of someone giving all their money to someone else to manage. You did hear about the sports guys who will remain nameless, who gave all their money to a scam artist.
I mean, even I do not give all my money to my wife. How can you go and sign off your million dollar check to someone else. Maybe humans should be equipped with computer memory in order to remember not to be stupid.
I feel sorry for these guys but at the same time, I am really in doubt about our education system is some seemingly low IQ guys are being paid as much money as they are.
