I promised never to talk politics on this blog but some things really get to me. We recently have had a lot of news about Obamas near misses in choosing commerce secretaries but the last one seemed like a joke to me.
How do you campaign for a job, get offered the job and then on the last minute decide that the job was not what you wanted in the first place? It reminded me of one Black Friday when a friend of mine was offered a very good job.
He had been looking for a good job for sometime and as luck would have it he got two offers at the same time. That is when the trouble began. He was advised by his fiance that he could haggle for more and so went back to haggle. One of the companies agreed and the other declined. He was to start on Monday when again he got an epiphany to go ask for more in the afternoon.
Need I tell you that he lost that job too?
