This week I was introduced to a very nice young man who I am sure is going places. As a simple business person who is trying to go into the internet marketing business, I have realised that it is not as easy as people make it out to be.
Setting up blogs and websites that can give one an online presence is not easy. The time one can spend doing this can be better utilised working on your own brick and mortar business. I guess that is why all these big firms have their own huge IT departments that only concentrate on selling their products online.
It is like a business where one is dealing with Mesothelioma cancer. If such is run by a doctor, one can’t expect that doctor to be good in internet marketing. For this reason, you will find that they employ the services of internet marketers to do this for them.
I guess we are not about to see the end of outsourcing various business functions for this very reason.
