Over the weekend, my kids came up with a list of things they would like to do before they grow up. I knew my kids were funny but this was just too much. Apparently, they got the idea from the bucket list movie. Made me wonder why I even bother getting them movies if they believe they are true.

They had to include things they knew I was never going to agree to. But that was the point wasn’t it? To show daddy that he’s not as hot as he thought he was.

Here’s the sample of 5 things my kids wanted to do before they grow up:

1. Get to buy all the video games at bestbuy – someone forgot to tell them that I have debt to pay before I buy another video game.

2. Visit their granny again – Is it my fault that their granny has dementia and I would prefer that they visit her when she has clothes on?

3. Go to the prom – I agree to this. In only one condition. They make their own tuxedos. I am not in the mood of buying anyone any clothes that they will wear only once.

4. Get to drive the car – It’s my car and they aren’t going to drive it. Now or ever

5. Get pocket money – I never got pocket money and I survived.

I have a funny feeling their mom put them up to this. Why couldn’t they come up with a better list such as read more books and get straight C’s at least once in their lifetime?
