Money Saving Tips

The first time I ever thought about saving was at a trip to costco where I realized I could buy a lot of things for my house at 10-20% off . It occurred to me that since I had to eat food everyday, why not just buy the food at a lower cost and save myself some money. All I had to do was get a sam’s club or costco membership, go shopping once a month and save myself another 10% . It added up quite a bit.

For example, I was drinking a bottle of wine every weekend. I stopped going to the local wine store and instead bought it at $1.5 less at one of those big clubs. In one year I had saved $78 on just one item I used every day. Now add all the ketchup, meat, drinks etc I was buying and I was saving over $3000 a year at the cost of $30 membership fees. Heck, even my car tires were cheaper.

I decided to start looking around for other things  to save money when I am spending .

1. Join Membership clubs or even wholesale clubs

Buy your common used items in wholesale clubs or create your own and start getting discounts at local stores.

2.Pay off Your Credit Cards

I know this is difficult for most but every time you pay off your credit card every month is you saving another 18% of your expenses. If your credit card balance is $1000 you save $180 every month you pay it off. Thats a saving of $2160 every year just for finding that $1000 to pay off your credit card.

3. Buy a Used Car

New cars are overated. Get a good used car and ride yourself out of poverty.
