When I moved to Georgia, I thought it would be super safe. I moved for work, and my boss raved about how great it was down there. Since I am from the Northeast, I pictured all of these polite southern belles serving me sweet tea while innocently gossiping about people in town. That was a very naïve picture I painted in my head. Living in Georgia is just like living anywhere else. Even thought the people are nice here, bad things still happen regularly. When I realized how stupid I’d been to think that everything would be perfect because I moved to the south, I went to www.homesecuritysystem.com/adt-home-security-system/ and got an alarm system installed in my home.

I always had one when I lived up north, and I can’t believe I overlooked such an important detail in my move. Even though Georgia isn’t exactly what I expected, my family and I still love it here. It’s still much warmer here than where we’re from, and we’re grateful for the mild winters. I love my new position too, so we plan on staying here for the long haul.
