It is about that time of the year when most of us start planning for a Christmas vacation. After staying in one area for a whole year, there is nothing better than getting as far away as possible from your home. It would be great to go to the savannah in Africa or to Paris, but that is no longer an option with the current economy.
The next best thing is to find a nice location near a beach and as far away from Boston as possible. The only problem I have with vacations is living in a hotel. Hotels are just crummy places and really do not suit the quiet time our family wishes to spend.
Our solution seems to be outer banks north carolina . It seems you can vacation in North Carolina in beachfront homes, away from everyone you do not wish to see with better service than a hotel.
