Not afraid of the concequences, I headed out to the town. I love Arlington more than Boston so just took a ride on Route 95 in my car. Of course I could not forget the dog and the kids. Getting to the Route 1 junction, I decided to head to the mall. Actually I wasn’t the one with the idea. My kids wanted to feel great walking around the mall doing absolutely nothing. At least that’s what they said. I am very sure all they wanted was Daddy buying another netbook or laptop.

I decided that I would rather not walk doing nothing. It is not healthy. I decided to go to the movies and watch Stallone in his new movie. Why stallone? Well, I’m getting a bit older now and I would rather watch people I know. Watching young girls pretending to be commandos is really not my cup of tea. But heck, I bit of Stallone and the other oldies in the movie just made my day.

The movie day off beat me sitting on my computer desktop the whole day.

This time it wasn’t because of the traffic jam and for once I wished it was. It seems that we as Americans can’t lose an opportunity to make fools of  ourselves. There is this mosque thing going on in New York and its really bugging. Not that I care if a mosque is built or not. I come from an area where religious buildings dot every corner.

It’s this need to always go picket about each and every thing that is not important. I think there are more important issues that will affect my kids in the future. For example banks that charge shylock loans. I haven’t seen anyone picketing that. What about medicare? I haven’t seen anyone picketing the need to have an understanding of Medicare part D plan.

But oh no, if Obama said something, we must go to the streets and make travelors like me spend hours in traffic. Please go home. There is new technology to make your voices heard. You have heard of polling, forums, chat rooms, calling your senator?

I believe that the only way human beings will develop is if we take it upon ourselves to ban Monday. Forget about new constitutions, new presidents, new technology or even creating great metal buildings. I believe that the solution to all the world’s problems is getting rid of Monday.

I am always tired and bored on Monday even though I may be motivated to start the week on a great note. It takes me longer to wake up and I always regret not spending time at home to sleep.

Maybe we work more on weekends with all those activities. Or maybe Monday was just cursed. I don’t know, but it surely is the worst day of the week.

Now, how does something like that happen? Apparently, the child, sorry, baby, causes all manner of tantrums unless he is given his daily dose of cigarettes. You have to wonder, if the parents are scared of the kid at two years throwing a tantrum, what will happen when he is 16?

Some of these things in the world are not funny anymore. It is not a sign of good parentage to allow any child let alone a baby think that all they have to do is throw a tantrum and get what they want. Forget about a cigarette. If these parents do not take care, they may be forced to remove their kid from college and instead get him an online degree.

I feel so bad about this story, I feel like stopping my cigarette habit in this instant.

The first time I was in Mogadishu in the 70’s, the place was vibrant with economic activity. For reasons that I don’t care about, the country now is the single largest exporter of pirates in the world. Every child in the country now wants to grow up one day to become the next Johnny Depp.

The last group of pirates got deark circles under eyes when they tried to attack a naval ship. I mean, how greedy can you be for money that you go attack a battle ship? It’s like trying to steal the police payroll before Christmas. You know bad things will happen to you.

I’m just tired of these thugs making excuses as to why they grow up to be pirates. Somewhere in Somali someone should be sitting down with his kids and telling them how stupid the whole thing is.

You just can’t have a whole country of pirates and gun totting youth in the year 2010. It even feels like a bad movie.

whichever it is, I just can’t get over the fact that Oscars are not funny. Honestly, it is hard to laugh when the jokes are stale. When the same jokes are delivered by people who pretend to be funny, you know you have a bomb.

In my continued rant on the Oscars after being forced to watch it and get stuck in traffic, I couldn’t help but wonder when people became so boring when delivering jokes.

I don’t consider Steve Carell as funny. He just got lucky with one movie and the rest has just been a major yawn. I had to write that without my wife seeing it. However, if one cannot figure out a joke to use from the movie Avatar, then they need help. It is not like they were creating a joke about conjugated linoleic acid. For christsake, if you can’t make a joke from a group of people with long years, blue colour and long hands, then you should not be on TV.

These Oscars really spoilt my weekend and I hope next year, they get banned from TV. I will encourage them to kiss on national TV and I will help to complain about it.

I will be writing a few articles about the Oscars today but you may as well be warned that I will not be praising them. It is not enought that they have to take a full 3 hours of TV, but the traffic…oh the traffic. Please don’t remind me of what happened to me yesterday.

Some cop had the audacity to ask me why I did not know the Oscars were around. Does everyone in Hollywood think that the rest of us mortals care about them?

I had to park my car at a local pub to avoid sitting in that traffic. Guess what? They were showing the damn Oscars and refused to change the station. Apparently everyone but me were aspiring actors. All the rest of us mortals are asking is a little thinking by the oscars herd. We don’t like watching you and not everyone on Holiday in California cares about the Oscars.

If it isn’t forex automated software, its even how to make friends automatically in facebook. Question is exactly how lazy do we wish to become. It seems we all want our Sony VAIO notebook to replace our whole life.

Since when did we see an automatic robot salesman? That is what these so called online marketing gurus are trying to peddle here. I don’t think that there is anyone who has ever sold without a bit of human touch. You need to smile, and empathize with the clients before they buy anything from you.

So how do you expect an automated script to be? Terrible is the answer.

I just cancelled the online marketing guru’s email and placed him in my do not call list.

But i’m finding it rather interesting that hip hop artists especially rappers seem to think that they have to go to prison by hook or by crook. Today its Shawty Redd. I have to admit I love hip hop but never heard of him before.

However, I have it by great authority ie my kids, that this is how he gains something called “street cred’”. If this is true, then rappers are a really lost bunch. Do you really have to kill someone in order to sell a song?

You would do better selling Amish fireplaces. Trust me I know.

It is absolute stupidity to make the kind of money that these rappers make then go around carrying a gun like a…….rapper.

Instead of just having a good day and doing the best with what they have, they would rather go around telling others that everything is about to end. Yes I blame the movie 2012.

Sure, I am worried about man made disasters but do people really have to hammer these things into my head when I’m having breakfast. I would rather be in an orlando vacations rather than listen to this nonsense.

My question is. If it true that the world is coming to an end, why then should I worry. It is ending so no amount of worrying will make a difference. After all, after the end of the world, there will be NOTHING!
