If the economy was doing so well, I would not need the President having to say so on TV.  It would be self evident, wouldn’t it? It does not help to see those guys on CNBC yapping about the bad employment growth numbers. All I have to do is look at my niece still looking for a job at McDonalds to know that things are not as good as they seem.

Let’s be serious about this economy before we all end up buying wooden swing sets for christmas.

Cats are a great training tool for a child on how to handle animals and situations. A child is not aware of their own actions and showing your kid the proper way of handling cats will help them realize this. This is without harming the child. For one reason or another, cats never harm a kid. They just run away from one. Unlike a dog which may bite back.

Cat’s by their nature are clean. Compare this to a dog which will go for their call of nature anywhere they feel like it. You can imagine how this will affect your kid. I always have printed boxes in my house to show my kids how to help a cat clean up even when you lack the modern cat poop dispensers.

If you ask me, I think that those that have dogs for kids before the age of 6 are running a risk of serious injury. At least a cat won’t mortally harm your kid and you will still be able to have the joys of having a pet in the house.

So the next thing you do is plan. You plan your way using your pen, white boards, computer software etc. You are so busy planning that you wake up one day only to realise that you are still as broke as when you were thinking.

So the next step is to do. So you start doing whatever you thought about following your new plan. After a few days of doing you realise that you are pretty confused now and really need to become more organised.

In fact, it soon that you realise that it was not the thinking, the planning or the doing but rather how you did it that was most important. That is the reason the more educated amongst us have project management software. You really need to organise your life more if you are to succeed.

All of us have the same time resources. It is up to us to teach ourselves how to properly manage our time.

Pain sells.

I thought about all those early salesmen who used to travel from town to town in the wild west. They would sell all manner of fake medication to townfolk who obviously were looking for a quick solution to their problems. Somehow they managed to sell lotions that could heal all diseases in the world even though the town doctor said it was a lie.

The moral is that pain sells. It is harder to sell a new pond than pond pumps. The fellow without a pond really doesn’t see the need to have a new pond. However, the fellow with a pond may see the need to have a good quality pond pump. His pain is clear.

Think about the niche you are targeting. The more pain there is in your niche, the more money you are likely to make in the long term.

You remember the Miss America competitor don’t you? Such a shame to the parents. I shiver to think that my own daughter will be some wide eyed bimbo only conversant with her friend’s profiles on facebook.

Now you know I hate facebook. The one good thing I can take away from facebook is that someone else will come up with a better website that will destroy these profile zombies.

What happened to reading books? I remember I used to read non-stop. I would even read a map just to keep myself occupied. Of course some bright person came up with the idea to sell textbooks online. Now, I can’t even find my old books since someone in my house decided to make a few bucks from them.

Come on people, lets get back to reading books.

Eating healthy foods begins with healthy ingredients, but if you are short on time, you may find that spending time in the grocery store does not fit into your schedule. To maximize your time, plan ahead for two weeks at a time. Instead of having to go to the store every time you need an ingredient, make a list and keep your refrigerator, freezer, and pantry stocked with good, healthy ingredients.

You can make your shopping list during a meeting, while eating lunch, or while you are on the phone. A list will also help you cut back on compulsory buying, which is when we purchase a lot of the foods that are bad for us.

Along with planning your shopping list, plan your meals as well. If you find little time to cook during the week, you can instead try making a few healthy meals in advance on the weekend and than putting them in your freezer. It is better to have the food in your freezer where you can just reheat it, than getting fast food.

Healthy eating on the run will never be easy. However, putting a tad bit more time into is worth that extra effort, because you’ll be living a healthier life in the end. Using these tips will help you to quickly eat as healthily as possible.

I rarely watch movies where the characters are still alive and have cult like following. You know I will not be watching an Obama movie soon. The writers of such movies have a tendency to not tell a real story but confuse us with impossible impressions of human beings.

However, invictus has a charm in it that is everlasting. I did not know if the movie was about Mandela, Mandela’s bodyguards, South Africa or the Springboks. Heck, there is a moment there I did not know if the movie was about the best acne treatment.

I found myself in utopia. I love rugby, anything African and of course Matt Damon.

This to me is probably one of the most intelligent movies in a long time. Or is Matt Damon just damn good?
