I guess we are all tired of seeing some very rich people asking for money from poor tax payers on TV by now. Detroit is in Washington this week asking to be bailed out from terrible investment decisions they have made over the last two decades.
The irony of it all is that they are borrowing money from me with my useless Ford focus after they all arrived in private jets. Now I am learning the meaning of the rich becoming richer on the backs of the rest of us common folk.
It is not a secret that these car companies have no intention of ever giving us cars that we actually can use in our daily lives. Every time I see a hummer, I just want to puke. It is ugly and damn uncomfortable, that is without the mileage on it. Then on the other hand is my Toyota Camry that is comfortable and I am afraid to admit, has lasted with me for over 12 years. All I do on it is an oil change.
I was just watching CNN and saw the Japanese are already working on futuristic cars. One that caught my attention was fully electric and it drives itself. Yes, you heard right, the car drives itself…. In the meantime, we are about to see the new generation of hummers in the market.
Give me a break. If US car manufacturers cannot come up with cheaper and more efficient cars, may they go the way of the dinosaur. I really doubt the fake story that if these car companies fold, America will die with them. Let them all die, I am sure riding a bike will not be so bad for the obese here.
