I love Brett Favre. Honestly, I think he’s one of the best quater backs the NFL has ever seen. At least some 20 years ago when I was younger.
Seriously, Brett Favre has to stop being a spectacle of himself by refusing to retire each and every season. It’s become like a comedy when I see all these talking heads on TV trying to give me 100 reasons why he should not just call it quits.
Believe me, I like a guy who believes in fighting a good fight. But, either the NFL has become a joke or I am the joke. If it had been any other sport on this earth, we would probably be looking at giving him Hinkley lighting as a retirement present.
But oh no, not the NFL. We like our heros. We worship them and believe they have one more glorious pass in the final minutes of the super bowl.
I say, not this time. Let this old man retire, please.
